Od roku 2005 sa občianske združenie In Minorita venuje téme pripomínania rómskeho holocaustu. Projekt nesie názov Ma bisteren!, čo v rómčine znamená Nezabudnime!.

Pripomínanie si rómskeho holocaustu

Perzekúcie, ktorým boli Rómovia počas druhej svetovej vojny vystavení, sa po oslobodení bagatelizovali. Mnohé zločiny neboli vyšetrené a vinníci zostali nepotrestaní. Aj v samotnej rómskej populácii prevládal názor, že na utrpenie a porobu treba rýchlo zabudnúť. Jediným zhmotnením zážitkov z druhej svetovej vojny sa stala divadelná hra Eleny Lackovej Horiaci cigánsky tábor. Napísala ju niekoľko rokov po skončení vojny a nacvičila ju v rómskej osade so svojimi príbuznými. Ako sama napísala:

V roku 2005 z iniciatívy Ministerstva kultúry SR vznikla pracovná skupina, ktorá sa podieľala na príprave projektu Ma bisteren! Realizátorom projektu sa stalo Slovenské národné múzeum a občianske združenie In minorita z Bratislavy.
Cieľom projektu bolo v prvej fáze zrealizovať niekoľko pamätných informačných tabúľ/ objektov, osadených priamo na miestach súvisiacich s porobou a utrpením Rómov počas vojny.
